Why are you passionate about sustainability? What was the moment or event that made you decide to become a 'change maker' in your field?

I am passionate about sustainability as it is helping to allow all living creatures to live more peacefully and harmoniously on this planet. With further success in bringing positive change to the way we think of, act towards and what we take from this earth it will give opportunity for the basic rights of humans, i.e. safe environments, shelter and food to be achieved so each one of us may more freely focus on and develop our unique inherent creative abilities instead of needing to work simply for food and shelter. The moment that was pivotal in focusing me on aligning myself more assertively with the interests of a sustainable world were when I understood that everything that I am and am provided with is simply a gift from this planet and if it were not for her, I would not be able to learn, prosper and live a joyful existence as I do.

Why is leadership for sustainability is important?

Leadership for sustainability is important as it is through care, conscious action and sustainable lifestyles lead by leaders that we can reshape this planet thoughtfully.

What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?

I plan to create a strong network and pool of people passionate about driving a localised food system with conscious purchasing as priority to reshape the way our food is offered to us.
