We need leaders in sustainability that can implement new models for lower impact living
What was the most valuable thing you got out of CSL?
The opportunity to reflect and crystallise my reasons for creating better outcomes for our world
Why are you passionate about sustainability? What was the moment or event that made you decide to become a 'change maker' in your field?
I am passionate about sustainability as my industry training as an environmental engineer has exposed me to many areas of human endeavour which have degraded our natural environment and/or depleted our valuable resources. I am beginning to realise in a physical sense that if we do not act to improve sustainable use of our world my (and our) children will be unable to have the same quality of experience of our natural world as I had in my youth.
Why is leadership for sustainability is important?
Australia is in a sustainability leadership drought and we have much to lose. We need leaders in sustainability that can implement new models for lower impact living.
What do you plan to do next on your sustainability journey?
Complete a small building project at home that has a lower ecological footprint than traditional building techniques.
