The projects you will undertake as a CSL intern will vary depending on your skills and experience, areas of interest and what is happening at CSL at the time. Projects are available for interns from all backgrounds – business, IT, education, communications, research, project management. Examples of the types of projects you may work on are:
• Contributing to a manual on how to change the world
• Developing the technical IT infrastructure to support the Global Future Sustainability Leaders Program
• Developing a business plan for the certification of environmental products
• Developing a curriculum to teach young leaders in their own schools
• Social research on the barriers for young people to create change
• Managing projects
Completed Projects
A project recently completed by one of our interns was a “Proposal for The CSL Australian Sustainability Leadership Indicator”. This proposal was to initiate a project to generate a formula for assessing sustainable leadership within Australia – identifying what makes a great sustainability leader and understanding how this knowledge can be reapplied to constantly update the Future Sustainability Leaders curriculum. The project will be undertaken by participants in the 2008 Future Sustainability Leaders Program.
